Garson is a Grensboro native and went to Page High School.He then went on to NC State University where he played football under the great Lou Holtz. Garson enjoys spending time with his 3 children and wife, Cathy. Garson has two black labs, Buddy and Trixie, both were rescue dogs. Garson is a local supporter of the Triad SPCA, The Greensboro Symphony and The Special Olympics. Garson's father, Garson Rice Sr., was the 1st Toyota dealer in the south in 1965 and Garson Jr. joined the family business in 1969.

John met his wife, Frankie of 40 + years, while they were both in high
school. The high school sweethearts married shortly after graduation. As a newlywed, John went into the U. S. Army. After basic training and additional schooling, he was assigned to Ft. Wainwright, Alaska for 18 months and then later transfered to Ft. Sam in Houston, Texas. After being discharged in 1971, John and Frankie returned home to Siler City, where they still currently reside. John enrolled in college after the military taking advantage of the GI Bill earning a degree in Accounting. John's career in the automobile industry began in 1986 and it has always been affiliated with "The Rice Family". I came to Rice Toyota in 1994 and am proud to be a part of this great automotive tradition. When not roaming Rice Toyota, John can be found working in his yard or enjoying as much time as possible with his four grandchildren.

Elmon grew up in Hickory, NC and attended Hickory High School. He has been in the car business for 24 years. If Elmon were not in the car business, he would probably be playing the PGA Tour, on the road to yet another Masters championship.

Neil was born in Charlotte, NC and spent most of his youth growing up in Lakeland, Florida. Traveling is one of Neil's favorite past times. He's been everywhere- Boston, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Sydney, Australia and Atlanta. Neil was in Atlanta for Super Bowl XXXIV and the 1996 Olympics. All the traveling has its perks, but Neil still thinks it is always nice to come home.

Jim was born and raised in Wisconsin, spent 7 years in California, and the last several in Washington state before relocating to Greensboro to work for Rice Toyota. Jim and his wife have 3 dogs, all from rescue organizations and have obedience trained all of them. Jim in an Alumni of The University of Wisconsin. Jim met his wife while working for a car dealer in Wisconsin and they were responsible for rewriting the employee handbook to prohibit relationships between managers.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David flew south and landed in Greensboro, North Carolina. He and his lovely wife Debbie have been married 24 years. Their son Matthew is a student athlete at Greensboro College, playing for The Pride baseball team. David and Debbie love to travel, especially when they are traveling to watch Matthew play ball. The past two summers they have attended the Palomino World Series in California to cheer on Matthew's team. David has worked for Toyota for 23 years.

Lane grew up in Graham, NC and learned to paint and repair vehicles from his father. An alumni of Graham High School and Guilford College. Lane and Diana, his wife of 28 years, live in Greensboro with their son Hunter. In his free time, Lane enjoys hunting, fishing and shooting sporting clays. The Murray family are active members of West Market Street Methodist Church. Lane has been a member of the Rice Family for 5 years and enjoys managing the Collision Center.
